We have been together for 6 1/2 years now…I have loved him for longer. But these past few years have been trying on UA, and our relationship. Last year I even thought about breaking it off…and now I’m thinking it again. Its hard sometimes..he’s not the caring man he used to be, he no longer shows the concern for me that he used to. I have lost sexual attraction to him because of it. Everything he says just seems sarcastic and I am losing patience…but he loves me. He has loved me for so long. He has seen me at my best and also at my very worst, he has seen the ugliest parts of me and still excepts me. If I break it off with him…will I be making a huge mistake? I feel like I have been trying for so long to make things work..but its so very hard sometimes. I don’t know what to do I love him but..being with him, remembering the man I fell in love with…it hurts
I feel like I’m drowning, gasping for air.

I think you should try talking to him Bouton how you feel, I know it might sound crazy, but if you both have been together for that long, you should be able to confide in him and tell him in a way he will understand. You can try explaining him that he doesn’t quite treat you he same as when you two first started, if cares for you I think he will try to understand your point of view. I hope it goes well for you.

But that’s part of the problem…we have talked in the past. We talk and he gets better for a day. We talk and talk and talk. He gets frustrated and will at times ignore me rather then talk about these issues. I would rather ignore me then talk about the things that tear us apart.
